Who are we?

London Printworks Trust is the centre of excellence for textile print.
Our passion has continued for twenty years since establishing ourselves as a charity to encourage professional artists, designers and emerging talent to learn, to share ideas, to produce new work and to fulfil their creative potential.
Thanks to recent funding from the Clothworkers Foundation and continued support from Arts Council England, Lambeth Arts and The Leverhulme Trust,
LPT is currently improving its services, workshop facilities, design room, courses and curatorial programmes.

What do we do?

London Printworks Trust’s fully equipped textile screen-printing workshop can be booked by anyone with prior experience in textile screen-printing. We provide subsidised open access for a diverse range of printers including interior designers, fashion designers, artists and small business owners. We also have a selection of print courses available to book from the very basics for beginners to advanced for regular textile printers which are taught by a range of professional and high profile printers, designers and artists.

Our in-house experienced technicians also take on a number of bespoke production jobs with clients such as Paul Smith, Yinka Shonibare, Sonia Boyce and Fine Cell Work.

We engage with the local community in educational programmes and activities but also on a international scale with professional visual art practitioners.
